Career as a film editor

Sidney Wolinsky began his career as a film editor near the early 1980's. He started his career by working on the made-for-television movie 'Suddenly, Love' in 1978. His first major film was 'My Tutor,' which was made in 1983. Throughout Wolinsky's first decade as a film editor, he focused on working on films more than television shows. During the 1980's, he only worked on one episode of 'Miami Vice,' but he's worked on several movies, including 'Howard the Duck,' 'Maid to Order,' and 'One Magic Christmas.'

1990's

In the 1990's, Wolinsky's career changed focus from big-budget films to made-for-television films. During the course of the decade, he only made one movie that wasn't made a direct-to-television release: 'Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog.' Although he worked on many made-for-television movies, he did not work on many television shows. Over the course of the 1990's, he only worked on one episode of the show 'Percy' and only one documentary, 'Chariots of Gods? The Mysteries Continue.' Some of the most famous made-for-television movies that he worked on were 'In the Shadow of a Killer,' 'Baby Snatcher,' 'Trial by Fire,' and 'Circle of Deceit.'

2000's

During the first decade of the new millennium, Wolinsky focused more on television shows compared to anything else. However, he did still continue to work on the occasional made-for-television movie during this decade. In 1999, Wolinsky began working on the popular drama show 'The Sopranos.' He worked on over 30 episodes of this show until 2007. He also worked on several episodes of the show 'Rome' in 2005 and 'Swingtown' in 2008. He also worked on the made-for-television movies 'Secrets of a Hollywood Nurse' and 'Natalee Holloway.'

2010 to the present

Some of Walinsky's most popular projects have been in recent years. He has worked on one episode of several popular shows, including 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'The Walking Dead,' and 'The Strain.'
