She then went on to play the role of Anna in the 2009 version of the series 'V', Vanessa in the superhero comedy film 'Deadpool', and Jessica Brody in the Showtime series 'Homeland'. Austin Chick's first big film, which he wrote and directed, which was released in 2002. It was titled 'XX/XY', and it starred Mark Ruffalo and Kathleen Robertson. It revolved around the complex relationship between three Sarah Lawrence College students, both during their time at the school and then many years later. He next co-produced Sidney Lumet's 2007 film, 'Before the Devil Knows You're Dead', which featured Ethan Hawke and Philip Seymour Hoffman as two brothers who stage the robbery of their parents' jewelry shop in an effort to get rich quick, with tragic consequences. He then produced a movie called 'August', was released by ContentFilm International in 2008. The plot centered on two brothers, with one of them involved in a struggle to save his internet company on the stock market just before the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Austin Chick and his former wife Morena Baccarin recently made headlines following an ugly battle over custody of their son. They had clashes over passports, plane trips and play dates and Chick soon launched an 'emergency' custody battle with ex-wife actress Morena Baccarin over their three-year-old son. According to the law, in a custody case of a minor, a parent can ask the court to issue an emergency ex parte order when they believe there is immediate risk of physical danger or psychological harm to the child. In his appeal, Chick requested changes to a 2015 court-ordered custody agreement over their son Julius. He said that he and Baccarin had established a different routine over the past year-and-a-half, until recently when Baccarin started making things more difficult. Chick stated that Baccarin had been making transitions hard for Julius, and also demanded that he get his son's passport back. Baccarin's attorney obviously defended his client calling the move 'gamesmanship' to 'vex and harass' her client and also requested $3,300 to cover all legal fees.
