Having a dream about an ex-girlfriend or boyfriend is a common occurrence and often happens after you break up with the person or have started a new relationship. Having a dream of your ex could mean that you have unresolved issues with that person or you still have some feelings for them. It could mean that your new relationship is missing some of the things your old relationship had that you really loved. The most common reason you have a dream about this ex person of yours is that you still have feelings for them! It doesn't matter who ended the relationship or how long you have been separated, you can still be harboring feelings for this person.
