Virgil Williams is an American writer and television producer who started writing for television for the series '24'. He wrote a single episode of the first season in 2002 and he was hired as the story editor for '24' in late 2002. He contributed with his writing skills for two episodes in the second season and then returned to write one more episode for the third season of '24'. After scripting 4 episodes in the popular series, '24', he left and joined the crew of 'ER'. Williams became the co-producer and writer for the twelfth season of 'ER' in 2005. Two episodes of the show, 'Two Ships' and 'Strange Bedfellows' were written by him. In the thirteenth season, Williams was promoted to become the producer and the writer. He further wrote two more episodes, 'Jigsaw' and 'From Here to Paternity'. He rose to become the supervising producer for the fourteenth season of 'ER'.
