How to tell the real baby yeezys from the fake
Baby Yeezy have made a huge name in a short span of time. The demand that is noticed on release of every single collection is insane! When a product is doing this good in the market, copycats are inevitable. If you’re looking to purchase these beauties, you do have to go through a bit of hustle to make sure that you’re spending your hard-earned money on the authentic ones. Some copies of looks so genuine that it succeeds in fooling an expert eye too so we understand if you do fall prey to such a trap. To help you get the right pair, here are few things that you can look out for while buying these online or at a store.
First of all, if you locate a pair at a market, keep in mind that the chances of them being a fake are really high because most of the times there are a long queue of people to get their hand on these on the release date.
When you’re buying these online, if you thing that you’re getting them at a very good price and the offer looks too good to be true then the chances are that it is a counterfeit. This is because an original pair can cost up hundreds of dollars and if the pair is a special one, it can go over 1000 bucks too.
This doesn’t mean that if the price of the pair you’re buying is sky-high then it’s the original. There are hundreds of people making profit out of these by selling a counterfeit at the market price and fooling the buyers. To try our best and save you from such sellers, here is a list of things that you can use to locate a copycat!
The material is softer
The very first red signal you can catch is that the material is softer and doesn’t feel durable. The originals are created by Adidas using the Boost technology which provides a stifling system on the trainer’s soles. This makes the material feel harder and really durable. The bootleg company cannot get their hands on such a technology which means that no matter what they do, they cannot provide the quality and durability as the originals.
The box looks weird
Another way of spotting out the fake one is through the box. If the box looks off and cheap, chances are it’s a fake. A step that you can take to spot the fake is by watching unboxing videos on youtube and comparing the original box in the video with the one you’re thinking to purchase.
The whites are all white
When it comes to the white Yeezys, you can spot the counterfeit by noticing the colors. When the factories aren’t using the same material as the originals, it isn’t possible for them to copy the exact same color. The original white Yeezys have a cream shade of white while the copycats are all white, this is definitely a RED-SIGNAL for you!
