Facial Mask

1. Oatmeal Mask

It is safe to say that this mask is breakfast inspired. Best for oily skin as using this will calm the skin and take away its excess oil. Take a bowl, add in one egg yolk, 1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ cup oatmeal and 1 tablespoon of honey. Stir the mixture well and apply it on your face for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, rinse or use a towel dampened with lukewarm water to clean off the mask.

2. Hydrating Buttermilk Mask

All you need to nail this mask and enjoy the benefits is half a cup of buttermilk and 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Apply it on your face and leave for a few hours. Meanwhile, you can lay down and relax with some soothing music to make the atmosphere more spa-like. This mask will leave your skin smooth and oh-so-exfoliated.

3. Papaya Mask

Sunspots? Hyperpigmentation? Uneven skin tone? Well, give this mask a try and kiss your worries goodbye. To prepare it, you’ll need ½ cup of mashed papaya and 2 tablespoons of honey. Throw them in the blender to make a smooth paste. When the paste is smooth enough, spread it all over your face and even other parts of the body where you experience the above-mentioned skin issues. Leave it on for 2 to 30 minutes then rinse off. Don’t forget to moisturize right after.

4. Honey Mask

Honey is one ingredient that is mostly a part of every home’s grocery list and it is a natural antibacterial. This is why it’s the perfect addition in facemasks to hold all the other ingredients together. For this facemask, the ingredients you need are nutritional yeast, chamomile tea, and raw honey. Make one cup of chamomile tea with 2 tea bags and leave it to cool down to room temperature. In a bowl, mix 1 teaspoon of nutritional yeast and one tablespoon of raw honey. Pour the brewed tea into the bowl enough to turn the mixture into easily applicable consistency. Apply it to your face and leave it on for around 20 to 30 minutes and rinse afterward.

5. Citrus & Honey Mask

If you’ve noticed that your skin is losing its spark, Citrus and Honey Mask is what you’re looking for! All you need to make this mask is a ¼ cup of honey and few tablespoons of orange juice. Combine them both and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Use lukewarm water to clean it off and follow up with a moisturizer.

6. Banana Orange Mask

This mask will leave your skin with a very healthy feel and a natural glow. To make this, mash ½ banana in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of orange juice too. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse off and moisturize!

7. Yogurt Facemask

This has to be the easiest facemask of them all. You can use plain yogurt on your face and that alone will tighten up the pores and cleanse your skin. If you’re feeling fancy, add take a quarter orange juice with some pulp, add in a teaspoon of Aloe Vera and 1 teaspoon of plain yogurt. Evenly apply it on your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water and moisturize!

8. Egg Mask

All you need for this mask is an egg. Yes, that’s it! If you have dry skin, just the yolk will do. If you have oily skin, use the egg while and for normal, use the whole egg. You can also add in honey if you prefer but just the egg itself will show great results. Apply it on your face and wait for 30 minutes. Rinse off and moisturize!

Hair Mask

9. ACV, Egg and Honey Mask

If you’re looking for a mask to give your hair a nourishing boost, this mask should be your go-to. All the ingredients you need are a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar, a teaspoon of honey and 1 whole egg. Combine all of them in a bowl and apply it to your hair. Leave the mask for about 40 minutes and then rinse. The treatment shows amazing results on all hair types.  

10. Lemon and Egg White Mask

Ingredients needed for this hair mask are egg white from one egg and juice of half a lemon. Apply it to your hair from roots till the end. Leave the mask on for about 20 to 30 minutes (longer the better). Shampoo and condition your hair afterward. This hair mask is most suitable for greasy and oily hair.

11. Coconut Oil and Cinnamon Hair Mask

Cinnamon based masks are known to encourage hair growth because it is an anti-microbial spice that stimulates blood circulation. Blend coconut oil and cinnamon powder taken in equal parts and apply it to your hair. Leave the mask on for 40 to 50 minutes and then rinse. Try to incorporate this routine once a week to see results fast.

12. Apple Cider Viner, Honey, and Coconut Oil Hair Mask

Apple Cider Vinegar promotes glossiness and revitalizes its luster. To make this mask, take equal parts of honey, ACV and coconut oil. Mix well and apply on the hair for about 20 to 30 minutes. Shampoo and condition the hair. This hair mask works well on all types of hair.

13. Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Avocado Hair Mask

I have two hands up if we’re raising hands for dry hair. But let’s put these hands to good use and bless our hair with this amazing nourishing hair mask. All the ingredients you need for making this mask are a soft avocado, half a cup of organic coconut oil and a quarter cup of extra virgin olive oil. Blend all ingredients until smooth and then apply it on your hair. Leave the mask on for an hour and rinse. You’ll love the results as much as I did! ACV & Green Tea Hair Rinse

14. Green Tea, ACV & Peppermint Rinse

This is more of a rinse hair mask that is a very good home remedy for irritated scale. To make this, take 2 drops of peppermint oil, 1 cup of green tea and 1 tablespoon of ACV. Combine the mixture well and massage it onto the scalp. Leave it for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing.

15. Avocado, Olive Oil and Egg Hair Mask

For this nourishing hair mask, all you need is a smooth mixture of half an avocado, 1 egg and a teaspoon of olive oil. Apply this mixture on your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. When you rinse, you will instantly notice that your hair is more in control and softer.
