Tim McGraw is a famous country singer who also happens to be the son of the late baseball player Tug McGraw. His full name is Samuel Timothy McGraw and he was born in Delhi, Louisiana. He is the only child of Elizabeth Ann (Betty), a waitress and Frank Edwin 'Tug' McGraw Jr., a star pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets. McGraw is of Irish and Italian descent from his mother's side and of Scots-Irish, Scottish, French, English, Dutch, German and Czech descent on his father's side. McGraw was raised by his mother in Start for some time and then in Richland Parish which is on the east of Monroe for some time.
