Robert John Odenkirk or Bob Odenkirk is an American actor, comedian, director, producer and comedian who is renowned for his versatile acting and an uncanny style of dialogue delivery. His role as the dubious smooth-talking lawyer Saul on the AMC drama series 'Breaking Bad' won him critical acclaim. Odenkirk is married to Naomi Yomotov. Namoi became the executive producer of 'With Bob and David'. The couple got married in the year 1997 and has been together since then. They have two children together, a son Nathan Odenkirk and a daughter Erin Odenkirk. Odenkirk's net worth is $10 million dollars which he earns from his successful career as an actor. Apart from acting in movies, Odenkirk has also appeared in many television series and even directed and produced quite a few. He lives a lavish life with his wife and children today. Odenkirk was born in 1962 in Illinois, USA. He grew up in Naperville. His parents are Walter Odenkirk, who worked in a printing business and mother, Barbara Odenkirk. He holds an American nationality and is a white American by race. Odenkirk's parents got divorced because his dad was an alcoholic. He hated alcohol since then and once said in an interview, 'I grew up hating Naperville because it felt like a dead end, like Nowheresville. I couldn't wait to move into a city around people who were doing exciting things.'His father died in 1995 due to bone cancer. Odenkirk joined the High School in Naperville and later joined the Marquette university in Milwaukee. He joined the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois later. He started his foray into comedy writing as a radio DJ for WIDB. Bob created a late-night radio comedy show called 'The Prime Time Special'. This show showed that Odenkirk had great potential as a comedian. Odenkirk's biggest influence in comedy was Monty Python's 'Flying Circus' which he defines as a combination of wittiness and pure humor. He was also highly influenced by other radio personalities like SCTV, Steve Dahl, 'Let's Get Small', 'The Credibility Gap, and Woody Allen.

Odenkirk worked as a writer at Saturday Night Live from 1987 to 1991. He gave a lot of contribution to many sketches created with Conan O'Brien and Robert Smigel. At the time of his final year at Saturday Night Live, he worked with Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock and Chris Farley but he quit the show to pursue his career in acting. In 1998, Odenkirk did a stage show with O'Brien and Smigel called, 'Happy Happy Good Show' and also did a one-person show called 'Show-Acting Guy'. In 1991, Odenkirk worked as a writer for the TV show called 'Get a life'. He also wrote for the Dennis Miller Show. His friend Ben Stiller, whom he shared an office with at SNL, gave him a role on 'The Ben Stiller Show' in 1992. He both acted and wrote for the show and his memorable sketch 'Manson Lassie' won him an Emmy Award for writing. Odenkirk also wrote for the show, 'Late Night with Canon O'Brien'. In 1993, he starred as a recurring character Stevie Grant on 'The Larry Sanders' show. In 1995, 'Mr. Show with Bob and David' was aired on HBO for many seasons. 'Mr. Show with Bob and David' featured many comedians in the early stages of their careers. After that, Odenkirk played in a number of television shows and movies. Bob Odenkirk had various small featuring roles on televison shows like 'Dr. Katz', 'Everybody Loves Raymond', 'Seinfeld', 'Professional Therapist', 'Just Shoot Me!', 'News Radio', 'Arrested Development', 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and 'How I met Your Mother' and 'Weeds'. 'Seinfeld' ran for 9 successful seasons on NBC. Odenkirk also made a guest appearance in the 16th season of the series, 'The Office'. 'The Office' was a popular American comedy teleseries. His role in 'Breaking Bad' as a corrupt lawyer, Saul Goodman in 2009 got him rave reviews. He appeared as a guest star in three episodes of the second season. Later, he became regular on the series and remained until the final season of 'Breaking Bad'. In 2014, Odenkirk portrayed as Dr. Stork in the series, 'Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories'. He played the role of a podiatrist who specializes in cutting off people's toes. In 2015, Bob Odenkirk appeared in the title role of 'Better Call Saul' which was a spinoff of 'Breaking Bad'. Odenkirk has also acted in movies like 'The Cable Guy', 'Wayne's World 2', 'Monkeybone' and 'Can't Stop Dancing'. He had directed a movie called 'Melvin Goes to Dinner' in 2003 and had also acted in the same movie. After his success in 'Breaking Bad', Odenkirk started to play more prominent characters in many successful movies including, 'The Spectacular Now' and 'The Giant Mechanical Man'. His movie, The Spectacular Now received an award at Sundance Film Festival for Special Jury award for acting. The television series, 'Fargo' had Odenkirk play the role of Bill Oswalt.
