Born on May 17, 1976 in College Park, Georgia to Joyce Jones and Titus Burruss, Jr., Kandi Burruss spent her days with her only sibling, an older brother named Patrick Riley. The only difference between Kandi Burruss and most young girls her age is that she knew she wanted to be a famous singer in her years to come. At the age of 15, Kandi Burruss made her first television premiere on BET channel television show Teen Summit when she joined the singing all girl group Xscape.
