She is also happens to be the only black actor to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting. The Time Magazine listed Viola Davis in the list of 100 most influential people in the world in the year 2012 and then again 2017. Viola Davis has a net worth of $12 million. Viola Davis studied at the Juilliard School. She won an Obie award in 1999 for her performance as Ruby McCollum in Everybody's Ruby. She got her first Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and she was also the first black woman to win this award in Primetime Emmy history. Davis also got two SAG Awards for the same role in the year 2015 and 2016. Viola Davis acted in the film, 'Suicide Squad' in 2016. Davis has also starred in the films, 'Lila & Eve' in 2015 and Custody in 2016. Davis also appeared in the movie 'Get on Up' in 2014. Tennon is trying to create a platform for colored artists to enable them to tell their stories to audiences, stories which otherwise do not reach them. He has married actress Viola Davis and the two have been in continual support and love for each other. Julius Tennon and Viola Davis recently starred in a new documentary, 'Black Love', in which they open up about what their marriage is really like. Once in an interview, Davis revealed about how she met her husband. She said that she was going through a phase of intense loneliness and used to pray for a husband. She met him three weeks later while filming an episode of 'City of Angels'. She and Julius Tennon dated for four years before tying the knot. They got married in 2003.
