Who is Benjamin Walker?

Benjamin Walker Davis was born in 1982 but he's known by his professional name Benjamin Walker. He is a famous American actor and a stand-up comedian best known for his title role in the 2012 film, 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' and also in the film, 'Kinsey' as well as 'Flags of Our Fathers'. He is critically acclaimed for his role as Andrew Jackson in the musical 'Bloody Bloody, Andrew Jackson.' He also starred in the Broadway musical adaptation of the film 'American Psycho.' Benjamin Walker was born in Cartersville, Georgia to Jeannine, a music teacher and father Greg Davis, a movie rental store owner. Walker had to take his mother's maiden name as there was already a Benjamin Davis registered with the Screen Actors Guild. He attended Cartersville High School in Cartersville and then studied at the Interlochen Arts Academy near Traverse City, Michigan. He also attended the Juilliard School in the New York City and that's where he graduated from in 2004. Walker got engaged to actress Mamie Gummer in 2009. They married in 2011, separated amicably in 2013 and later divorced. Walker then began dating his co-star, Kaya Scodelario, during the filming of 'The King's Daughter' in 2014. They got engaged in December, 2014 and married in 2015. They've been together since and in 2016, they had a son.

Benjamin Walker's career can be divided into three stages: stage, movies and stand-up comedy. * Stage: In February 2007, Walker played the part of Bertram Cates in the Broadway revival of 'Inherit the Wind.' The show was nominated for four Tony awards, including Best Revival. In April 2008, Walker performed the role of the Chevalier Danceny in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses.' The production was nominated for six Tony awards. In December 2007, Walker appeared as Andrew Jackson in the musical 'Bloody Bloody,Andrew Jackson' during its world premiere at the Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre in Los Angeles. The musical was also a critical hit, but was only nominated for awards for set design. * Movies: Walker appeared in the short film 'All Saint's Day' (2007), which was the Savannah College of Art and Design winner for the narrative short category. In 2009, he appeared in the independent films 'Coach' and 'The War Boys.' Benjamin Walker's work in the film 'The Choice' was critically acclaimed. 'The Choice' is a 2016 American romantic drama film directed by Ross Katz and written by Bryan Sipe, based on Nicholas Sparks' 2007 novel of the same name. The film is about two neighbors who fall in love at first sight. He starred as Kevin Connolly in the 2012 film 'Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight' and in 2015, he was seen in the movie, 'In the Heart of the Sea.' 'In the Heart of the Sea' is a 2015 adventure-drama film directed and produced by Ron Howard and written by Charles Leavitt. Walkers performance in the film, 'Flags of Our Fathers' was exceptional. 'Flags of Our Fathers' is a 2006 American war film directed, co-produced, and scored by Clint Eastwood and written by William Broyles, Jr., and Paul Haggis. More recently, Walker was seen in the film, 'The Moon and the Sun, The King's Daughter,' previously The Moon and the Sun. This film is an upcoming American action-adventure fantasy film directed by Sean McNamara. * Stand-up comedy career Walker has performed various stand-up comedy shows at Caroline's, Comedy Village, and The Comedy Store. His comedy show, 'Find the Funny,' features comics and taped short narratives and skits. It is performed regularly in New York City. His comic stances can also be seen in some of his movies and the actor is a natural comedian with superb comic timing.

Kaya Rose Scodelario-Davis was born in 1992. She is an English actress best known for her roles as Effy Stonem on the E4 teen drama 'Skins.' She also played the role of Teresa Agnes in 'The Maze Runner' film series and Carina Smyth in 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.' Scodelario dated her 'Skins' co-star Jack O'Connell for a year and then split up with him in 2009. She was later got in a relationship with Elliott Tittensor but that didn't last long either because he couple split in 2014.
