1. Patrick Lovato - Demi Lovato's Dad Helped Cause Her Overdose
Demi Lovato admitted that her father, Patrick Lovato, had been abusive and caused her substance abuse addiction. In her 2017 documentary, Simply Complicated, Demi Lovato stated that her dad was an alcoholic and addict. She also admitted that she guessed she used drugs to find out why her dad had chosen drugs and alcohol over his own family.
