Aging is that pesky human biological trait that we all wish we didn’t have to deal with but have to, unfortunately. Doing yoga increases your energy levels which is felt on a cellular level so your body does more to stay young. What’s more, you’ll have a great body to boot so why not!

2. Cut down on processed sugar and just sugar in general

Easy anti-aging treatments you can make at home

1. Honey mask

Use honey as a face mask

Honey is a great natural moisturizer and is also packed with antioxidants. Use 1-2 tablespoons of pure organic honey and massage it on your clean face and then leave on for about 15 minutes then wash with tepid water and then tone. You can do this as a daily routine.

2. Egg white, honey, turmeric, lemon face mask

In a bowl mix 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon each of honey and turmeric and then 1 ½ teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix and apply on a cleansed face. Leave for 10-15 minutes then clean with a warm facecloth for 3 times a week at night and then use toner.

3. Plain Greek yogurt with lemon juice & honey exfoliating mask

These ingredients have great antioxidizing agents and work great for exfoliating too. Just add 2-3 tablespoons of plain yoghurt, a squeeze of lemon juice and a tablespoon of pure honey and mix well. Apply the mixture on your clean face and leave on for 15 minutes. The great thing about this is that you can use it on your hands too. Clean with warm water and then tone and moisturize. It will leave you feeling soft and supple.

Other recipes

You can also use lemon juice mixed with baking soda as a scrub, avocado and egg white with honey as a 15-minute mask. Try foods that are rich in antioxidant or exfoliating properties on your skin and you'll start noticing a difference right away
