Hoda Kotb is an Egyptian-American TV news anchor and host. Born in 1964, in Oklahoma, she moved with her family to West Virginia. She was raised there. Her family members include her mother, Sameha Kotb and her father, A.K. Kotb. Kotb is a famous personality known her for work on daytime television. She has co-hosted 'Today' with Kathie Lee Gifford and has also been a correspondent for Dateline NBC. Kotb started her broadcasting career for CBS in Egypt as a news assistant. She lived in Egypt for a year as a childand then in Nigeria. Kotb is a graduate from the Virginia Tech, holding a degree in broadcast journalism in 1986.
