One of those athletes is Perrine Laffont, the best female skier in France. The 19-year-old Perrine Laffont was born in Lavalanet, France and she is from the country of Olmes in Ariege. Laffont was initiated from a young age into freestyle skiing by her parents from Monts d’Olmes resort. Later on, the skier went to Annecy to study, and after high school, she joined Savoie-Mont-Blanc University. Laffont was only fifteen when she was selected to be in the national team and compete for the Moguls final at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. She finished fifth in qualifying and fourteenth in the finals. It was her first competition, but it prepared her and gave her the experience she needed to win her next competitions. After winning the gold medal on Sunday, Laffont went to his home country in the first Thursday of March, and she appeared on Daily that same evening. There is a high possibility that she has not finished cracking France and her tears and emotion on the podium moved millions of spectators around the world.
