In an interview with the 'Deadpool' actor
The role of Colossus was his dream role in the movie, 'Deadpool' and the actor Kapicic is even more excited to play a better version of his earlier role in the upcoming Deadpool 2. Kapicic was recently interviewed about his role and here are the best parts of the interview: The interviewer asked Kapicic whether he always wanted to be an actor or whether he just landed at the job accidentally to which he replied, "Well you know, I think I’ve realized my childhood dream now by being part of the Marvel universe. I’ve always loved acting and during my career I’ve done so many things, like television, movies, theater etc, but to be a part of this was something I really dreamed of ever since I was a kid. Growing up with Marvel comics and now I actually get to be a superhero, it’s an unbelievable feeling." The audition process for the role of Colossus was very interesting and here is what we got to know from the actor. He said that initially the process of audition was very hush hush. he did not know what he was auditioning for. He self-taped himself as if he were going for a theatre performances in Dubrovnik and Montenegro but he didn’t know what it was all about. A comic book geek he thought, this could only be Wade Wilson. So he soon realized that it could be Deadpool! It helped him a lot because that time he was thinking who was in the movie and he thought that it could be Colossus and that helped him a lot because then he thought about what could he do to get closer to the Colossus character. Fifteen days after that they called him and said he got the role. He was so happy and overjoyed and it was tough for him to put his feelings to words. It was once in a lifetime happiness and opportunity for him.
