B.D. Wong has a net worth of $8 million dollars.

Wong was chosen by Goldsea Asian American Daily as one of the "100 Most Inspiring Asian Americans of All Time". The left-handed actor chose to go by his initials rather than his full name because once while playing his major breakthrough role, 'M. Butterfly,' he decided that using his initials rather than his full name would make it difficult for everyone to guess whether he was a man or a woman. This went on to add to the androgyny of the character that he was playing and ever since, he has been addressed as B.D. Wong.
