Jaime King was born on April 23, 1979. She is an American actress and model who began her career at the age of 14. She has often used the name James King in her modeling career as that was a nickname given to her by her parents. Jaime became a successful model quite early. She was spotted at the age of 14 and was featured in Vogue, Mademoiselle and Harper's Bazaar, among various other fashion magazines. She shifted her focus to acting in 1998, initially landing with small film roles. She later dated Kid Rock for a brief period at the age of 21. In January 2005, she met her future husband, Kyle Newman, the film's director, while working on the sets of 'Fanboys'. After three months of dating, the two moved in together. The two got married on November 23, 2007, in Los Angeles at Greystone Mansion, where Newman had proposed to her. King had suffered five miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy before her first successful pregnancy. In February 2015, King gave birth to her second son. Their second son, Leo Thames, was born July 16, 2015. Jaime King made headlines last week when she was attacked while she was in her car with her son. A man jumped on top of Jamie King's Mercedes-Benz and smashed the windows in while her 4-year-old son James Knight Newman was inside the car in Beverly Hills.
