Some people have an inborn talent and none proves this better than the talented impressionist Kate McKinnon. She is not only featured on Saturday Night Live but also is an acclaimed American actress, comedian, musician and model. Born in 1984 in Sea Cliff, New York, McKinnon completed her education at North Shore High School in Glen Head, NY and she later graduated from Columbia University. She openly revealed about her lesbian preference on Saturday Night Live. McKinnon could play the guitar, cello and the piano as a child and possessed an iguana as a pet when she was small. She is best known as a regular cast member of the SNL and for her role as Dr. Jillian in the reboot of 'Ghostbusters'. Ghostbusters reboot was released in 2016. In an interview she revealed that she does not need to do a lot of research while trying to impersonate a celebrity as she has already watched the celebrity for hours on TV. Such is the talent of this lady who has not only brought a smile to our lips but also made our Saturday nights interesting. She got nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards; one for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and four for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She won two of these awards in 2016 and 2017.

In 2016, Mckinnon appeared in the movie, 'Masterminds,' a 2016 American comedy film based on the October 1997 Loomis Fargo Robbery in North Carolina. McKinnon has also done some voice acting for certain characters in series like 'The Simpsons' and 'Family Guy' and movies such as 'Finding Dory,' 'The Angry Birds Movie' and 'Ferdinand.' In the 2017, Ferdinand, she rendered her voice to the character, Lupe. She also appeared in the comedy film, 'Rough Night' in 2017. 'Rough Night' is a group of girlfriends who hire a male stripper for a bachelorette party in Miami. Things go terribly wrong for them as the movie proceeds. She will be next seen in the upcoming 'The Spy Who Dumped Me'. 'The Spy Who Dumped Me' will be released in July 2018.

McKinnon began as a featured player on Saturday Night Live in April of 2012 and she became a permanent cast member in 2013. McKinnon began appearing as Hillary Clinton on the series leading up to the 2016 presidential election. But after the loss of Hillary Clinton at the elections, she began appearing as Kellyanne Conway alongside Alec Baldwin portraying Tump. McKinnon has stated that she is a supporter of Clinton. She recently impersonated Laura Ingraham in April of this year. Laura Ingraham received a lot of backlash because of her harsh and inflammatory comments about issues such as the shooting at Parkland High School, in Florida.
