Robert Rihmeek Williams popularly known as Meek Mill is an American hip-hop recording artist who started his journey through rap battles and today he is one of the most famous and richest rappers in the United States. Meek Mill's rap group ‘The Bloodhoundz’ became the best in the rap battle circles across the United States and Meek Mill achieved a name in the early stages of his career owing to his rap group. Meek Mill finally got a break in 2008 when he signed his first record deal. Meek Mill made several changes in his career from one label to another just to find the best workplace. Mill joined Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group, the record label which later dropped Mill’s debut studio album titled ‘Dreams and Nightmares.' Mill is 30 years of age as he was born on 6th June 1987 in South Philadelphia. Mill has a sister named Nasheema Williams. He lost his father when he was just 5. He was left with nothing and had to struggle with his mother. After losing his father, Mill moved to North Philadelphia along with his sister and mother, in search of a better life. They rented a three-bedroom apartment which they couldn’t completely afford, and in order to make ends meet, Meek Mill's mother cut hair and shoplifted now and then. Mill was a quiet and shy kid during his childhood, and he witnessed his mother going through a lot of hardships just to support his family. Mill later became close to one of his father’s best friends, who is a popular DJ in the Philadelphia underground music scene. One of these prolific names was T.I, who was really inspired by Mill’s solo mixtapes ‘Flamers,' ‘The Real Me’ and ‘The Real Me 2’. Once Mill moved past the accusations and hearings, he dropped Flamers 2.5 (The Preview) and Flamers 3 (The Wait is Over) to taste his very first broad mainstream success. Two songs in particular ‘Rose Red’ and ‘Make ‘em Say’ were massive hits that added to Mills fame and fortune. In 2010, Mill dropped his seventh mixtape titled ‘Mr. California’, which he said was quite personal to him. Famous American rapper Rick Ross got to know Meek Mill through his mixtapes. He then signed him to his record label known as Mayback Music Group. After he was signed to this record label, Mill got the chance to release two singles ‘Tupac Back’ and ‘Ima Boss’ for the company’s album. Mill earn a lot of respect and love from his fans after the release of his single ‘Dreams and Nightmares.' But a pastor from Philadelphia accused Mill of showing religion in a bad manner in lyrics of ‘Amen,' a song from the released album. Mill explained that it was a rap song and there is always a lot of bad things mentioned in rap music. Mill also added that he had no plan to hurt any religious sentiments and only wrote what he felt like at that moment. Most American rappers are known to fight and have misunderstandings with each other. Mill has also been part of this. During the course of his career, he has had issues with The Game, Kendrick Lamar, 50 cents, Beanie Siegel, Drake and Cassidy. The rapper also got good sides as he has teamed up with great singers like Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj to release the song titled “All Eyes On You”.
