Born as William Bruce Jenner on October 28, 1949, in Mount Kisco, New York to Esther Ruth and William Hugh Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner has two sisters Lisa and Pam and a younger brother Burt, who was killed in a car accident in Canton, Connecticut on November 30, 1976. Jenner completed her freshmen and sophomore years from Sleepy Hollow High School, Sleepy Hollow, New York. She attended her junior and senior years at Newton High School, Newton, Connecticut. Jenner attended Graceland College in Lamoni, Lowa after she earned her football scholarship. In 1972, Jenner was fifth in place for men's decathlon in the U.S. Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Jenner completed in tenth place in the decathlon. Since then Jenner has been unstoppable. She had the world's attention on her when she won the Olympic Gold Medal in 1976. Jenner, after her biggest victory from the Olympics, was unofficially named the "World's Greatest Athlete."
