10 Ways to be Become Rock Hard and Stay Hard Down There

Something Wrong With Your Manhood?

Erectile dysfunction is the inability in a man to achieve or sustain an erection, making him unable to participate in any satisfactory sexual activity. The erection, if achieved, isn’t hard enough to penetrate or stimulate sexual pleasure during intercourse.

If you’re reading this article, you might suspect you or your partner for having erectile dysfunction. See if the following common symptoms of ED are present, they include;

  • A consistent inability to get an erection that’s hard enough to stimulate sexual pleasure. Erections may occur sometimes, but not every time you’re looking to have sex – that’s a symptom.
  • Regularly being unable to maintain an erection. This means, even when you get an erection, it’s never long enough to have satisfying sex.
  • Not being able to get an erection at all, ever.

10 Ways to Become Rock Hard and Stay Hard

In rare scenarios, ED is permanent and beyond repair. But in most cases though, there are ways to help with such a condition. In this article, we’ll address some natural tips to help in achieving and maintaining an erection for better sex, and also some traditional medicines that are known to help with ED. Let’s get started.

Natural Ways to Help with Erectile Dysfunction

1) Ever tried a cock ring?

A cock ring is a remarkable tool for maintaining a hard erection for longer periods of time. It’s a simple O-shaped toy that fits right around your penis and limits blood from leaving your penis shaft, keeping it harder for longer. In some cases of ED, blood may flow to the penis successfully but has a hard time staying there; this is called venous leakage. A cock ring is tremendous at helping with such a condition too.

There are several types of cock rings available in the market; all of which help with achieving and maintain erections;

  1. Stretchy rings
  2. Solid rings
  3. Vibrating rings
  4. Adjustable rings

They’re usually pretty cheap, so it’s advisable to get one of each kind and explore what works best for you.

2) Watch your diet

Foods that are bad for the heart are generally not good for the penis either. This makes sense medically, as the heart and penis rely hugely on healthy blood flow to function well.

A Mediterranean diet, consisting of whole grains, fruits, heart healthy fats like vegetables, olive oil and nuts could be a huge first step. The link between improved sexual performance and the Mediterranean diet is scientifically backed and well-known, so it’s a must-try natural ED remedy.

3) Cardio!

The importance of cardio cannot be stressed enough when it comes to helping with erectile dysfunction. As mentioned above, blood flow is the key to a nice and healthy erection. There’s nothing better you can do to encourage and improve your blood flow than to have some cardio sessions throughout your day. It could be aerobic exercise, running, skipping rope, or just easy to do activities that not only keep you in shape by burning calories but also help you miraculously in bed. Apart from encouraging one’s blood flow, cardio build’s the body’s nitric oxide, helping maintain erections for longer.

4) Smoking is the enemy

A study conducted at the University of Kentucky found results that were largely in favor of non-smokers in terms of their sex-life quality. Researches carried this out by asking people to rate their sex lives out of 10, and then compared the answers of smokers against non-smokers. Alarmingly, smokers’ ratings averaged at around 5, while non-smokers rated their sex lives a 9 on average.

This wasn’t a coincidence. Smoking is actually a well-known cause of impotence in men. Some scientific evidence supports the claim that it also affects erection strength and size. In one study, the average erect penis size of smokers was found to be smaller than that of non-smokers. This is because smoking regularly or excessively not only damages blood vessels but could also damage the penile tissue – making it less elastic and limiting it from stretching as much as a regular person’s erect penis would.

5) Drink More Coffee

A cigarette habit is one of the worst things for the health of your erection, but coffee can be your greatest ally. Studies suggest that men consuming 2-3 cups of regular coffee daily were a lot less likely to suffer from ED, compared to those who prefer caffeine-free mornings. While people may be quitting caffeine for many other reasons, erectile dysfunction definitely isn’t one of them.

With Traditional Medications

Let’s get into some statistics. Around 50% of men from 40 to 70 years of age live with a certain degree of erectile dysfunction. Only 10% report to have a total inability to get or maintain erections ever though. In most cases, taking an ED drug results into an erection that’s enough to perform intercourse in about 70% of these cases (assuming they’re healthy besides their ED problem).

When it comes to ED drugs, the big four names rule the market, i.e. Viagra, Avanafil (Stendra), Tadalafil (Cialis), and Vardenafil (Levitra).

A common question is whether it makes a significant difference if either of the four drugs is taken. According to Dr. Louis Liou at Harvard, there can be pretty considerable differences. He has his new patients try different alternatives to see which one works in their particular case. This brings us to five more ways to get an erection using traditional medications. We’ve discussed each of these down under this list.

6. Try Viagra (Sildenafil)
7. Try Avanafil (Stendra)
8.Try Tadanafil (Cialis)
9.Try Vardenafil (Levitra)
10. Try the ‘Daily-use’ FDA approved Cialis Version

Viagra is often the first drug most doctors would offer. It’s a tried and tested ED drug that’s been in the market for the longest, and it’s a pioneer in its field. The side effects and the food and medications it interacts with are all well known, making precautions easier and safer.

All of the four drugs mentioned above, i.e. Viagra, Avanafil, Tadalafil, and Vardenafil improve blood supply to the penis, which is what causes an erection. Combine their usage with sexual stimuli and they can produce an erection that’s decent enough to begin and complete rather fulfilling intercourse. Vardenafil (Levitra) also comes in a fast-dissolving form, called Staxyn, which you can put under your tongue.

How well do these 5 pills work?

In about 70% of men, ED drugs are successful in providing an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. The results vary quite a bit among different individuals though. ED drugs may be more unresponsive in men with damaged nerves or arteries as a result of diabetes, surgery, or cardiovascular disease. In some men, none of these drugs can work too, they’re completely unresponsive, but that’s pretty rare.

How Long Do These 5 Pills Take to Start Showing Effects?

The onset times have been listed above for each of the four popular erectile dysfunction drugs. They all start working within the 15 – 60 min range of time. Viagra (Sildenafil) and Levitra (Vardenafil) both wouldn’t work if taken after a meal, blocking their absorption. The other two drugs though, Cialis (Tadanafil) and Stendra (Avanafil) do not interact with food in such a manner.

The Stendra (Avanafil) drug and the daily-use version of Cialis are the closest to being an ‘on-demand’ ED drug, with the shortest onset times. Using the other two requires some planning ahead of time.

When is it Time to See a Doctor?

Experiencing persistent erectile dysfunction that affects one’s sex life, causing constant emotional stress, directs towards the need for medical consultation. Many men choose not to discuss this with their doctor though, finding the topic of achieving and maintaining an erection uncomfortable to bring up. One should keep in mind though, that doctors are trained professionals who don’t think like normal people do when it comes to issues like these – there’s nothing to be ashamed of in front of a doctor whose job is to help you get better.

No matter what your issue is, chances are, your doctor has dealt with worse and stranger ones. Not being able to keep an erection is way more common than people think, and letting your doctor know about the problems you’re facing will help him identify health concerns sooner.
